Programs

Pleasant Valley Education Foundation's programs deliver what our community values - thinking, creative, caring, collaborative, self-confident kids!

Our programs include:

CineMagic Our signature after-school performing arts program teaches singing, dancing and on-stage performance.

Robotics Roundup Students design, build, test and program robots to accomplish challenge missions and partricipate in friendly competition.

Speech Tournament 3rd graders exercise their brains and learn poise in categories such as poetry and storytelling.

Innovation Grants Competitive grants support innovative arts and technology learning in the classroom for individual teachers and district-wide programs.
In 2009 Innovation Grants to individual teachers were suspended. Instead, PVEF awarded a 3-year, $10,000 per year grant to the Pleasant Valley School District to start the Arts Elective Wheel program in several of its schools. With this seed funding, PVSD was able to begin a pilot program that brought the arts back into the elementary and middle school classroom in a comprehensive and ongoing way. The 2011-12 school year was the final year of the grant.

It is the goal of the PVEF board of directors to be able to resume Innovation Grants to individual teachers as the economy continues to show improvement. Generous individual donors and community-oriented business sponsors are vital to help us reach this goal. Donate Now.
